I heard about this in the afternoon, so I went looking for articles to see if any other information was released. That's when I found out how far out of touch Fox News is (as if I didn't already know).

Bleeding Cool News: Hey, DC Comics is going to have a previously straight character come out. Northstar was the first openly gay mainstream superhero and there have been many others.

SeattlePI: Archie Comics had a prominent gay character who later married his boyfriend. And remember Northstar's getting married to his boyfriend this year, too.

Fox News: OMG, what if it's Superman?! Family values are crumbling! Rivers of lava and devastation for all!

Omens mentioned it to me and then I worked out what twitter was talking about re: saying it would be cool if tim or kyle was gay and I was like what do you mean if tim was gay. I mean I would fine with Kyle obviously since he can date Jason Todd but Timmmm.

I didn't know Northstar was marrying his boyfriend!

Two years ago I was at a comic convention and somebody who works on X-Men was discussing Northstar's upcoming nuptials in a panel (which he said was happening VERY VERY SOON) and I was like "alright, awesome!"

Two years later, it's happening. I'm not sure what kind of watch he was using, but to me 2 years isn't in the realm of "very very soon." But, whatever, at least it's happening!
